The Zane Grey Day Ride is one of the three Thunder Mountain Ride day rides. Meet at Safeway parking lot in Payson, the ride will start at 10am, Saturday, October 9, 2010. Ride east on SR-260 through to Heber.

Starting from Safeway parking lot in Payson:

Turn right and ride east from Payson on Highway 260
Red Onion Restaurant in Heber for cold drinks & bathroom break.
Photo ops on way back include Mogollon Rim Lookout - view largest stand of Ponderosa Pines in the country!
Meander down Old Highway 260 into Christopher Creek.
Stop at ERA Young Realty and pick up an extra ticket for the ERA motorcycle.

Total return trip: 101 miles - about 2 hours
